Future Stuff ::1:: Been Up All Night
[This was not clicking for some reason. He has been staring at these reports for the past hour and half, nothing having been accomplished besides from papers being shuffled around in a semblance of productivity and knives thrown into the pillar behind him out of sheer frustration. His fingers tapping along the worn metal to keep himself from doing further property damage at this rate.
The bottom line was that stress was gnawing at him.
Not from the job though. If anything, reports should came as second nature after the past few months and coordinating had been relatively easy once the rough first week passed by. Being a vanguard should cause less stress than doing actually fieldwork yet here he was at a breaking point almost.
There was nothing. Absolutely nothing. Those stupid letters and photos and other bullshit weren't coming in anymore.
Something had to have happened and he's stuck here in this goddamn tower like a fresh rezzed moron.
His hands were effectively tied as well. No one could be sent out without the other two's approval and even then it'd be brought forward to discussion by the head vanguard. Which means that nothing could happen for days and he'll be sitting on his ass like he already was. All it did was make him all the more frustrated about having given up his freedom to leave as he so pleased because at least then someone would be out there trying to figure out what happened.
The hunter buries his face in his hands with an exhausted sigh leaving him. He probably looked like hell at this rate. Throwing himself into long hours had made his sleep schedule an abysmal handful of hours in the past few days. Half the time he didn't know how he wasn't passing out during meetings. Be easy to. Pull the hood further down, lean down on the table and maybe get an hour or two of on and off rest. Might be the best time to try it out to be quite honest since the hall was dead before attempting it when there'd be actual repercussions to getting caught.
He grunts after stretching out on the table some, pillowing his head with his arms for something close to comfortable. Shade is called out of transmat to keep a watch on things while an attempt at a nap was made. The ghost whirling softly in concern but does as told.
Things suck. Might as well try to ignore it for the time being.]

Sounds good to me. Well do you want comfort or convenience? The back sofa is closest but the bed has the most room. So what will it be?
[He didn't have a preference at the moment. This feels amazing so far and he exposes his throat more at the bite, groaning softly.]
no subject
[But he's effectively distracted himself now, hands splaying over the hunter's hips as he starts to work a mark into his neck.]
Missed you.
no subject
It'd be good to keep you from further injury.
[Then he stops at those last two words and his hand goes up to gently hold the back of Liam's neck, the other curling into his hip protectively. Something in his chest tightening as a smile flickers onto his face.]
Same. So glad you're back.
no subject
[He's joking, of course, and he grins into the hunter's neck, nuzzling at the crux of his shoulder as he brushes the pads of his thumbs over the curve of his hips.]
But I told you, I gotta come back. 'cause I've got the best thing in the world back here.
[Definitely sappy, but he leans up to steal a soft kiss before nudging James a bit.]
C'mon, towel. Then I'll prove it.
no subject
[Well that was rather cute and he laughs quietly, shaking his head as he slides out of the titan's hold. The nudges enough to coax him from the shower and throw a towel at him.]
And you call me a sap.
no subject
[Towel, though, that's definitely useful. He snatches it out of the air and gives himself a quick dry, then tosses it aside haphazardly.]
Well you are. 'course.
[But he's taking the hunter's hand after that, tugging him into a soft kiss before he's heading upstairs.]
no subject
[He makes a note that his shower didn't exactly count but right now there was a more important matter at hand. He rolls his eyes despite the kiss and follows close after the titan.]
As much of one as you are then.
no subject
[And that feels so good to say.]
C'mon.
[He's still not able to be as exuberant as he'd like, and there's certainly no way that he'll be able to pick up the hunter, but that doesn't stop him from pulling him along, stopping only to steal a quick kiss before he drags the other up the stairs.
When they finally make it up, it doesn't take more than a moment before he's gently maneuvering James to the bed, easing him into laying down so that he can straddle him.]
no subject
[A soft laugh leaves him while he allows Liam to lead, shaking his head at how enthusiastic he was at it. At least he wasn't trying to push himself too hard and attempting to pick him up. The kiss is definitely a nice touch though.]
So are you going to do as you say and...
[Oh. The titan certainly is because he's on his back on the bed and that's definitely Liam moving to straddle him. Right. That's a thing. He moves his hands to gently hold onto his waist, blushing some.]
Nevermind.
no subject
I mean, you said-
[There's a quiet laugh as he rolls his hips, one arm splayed against the bed to keep his balance.]
Unless you don't want to.
no subject
N-no...no it's good. I want this.
no subject
Don't sound too sure.
no subject
[A smile thrown out to the titan in order to evoke some confidence in what he had said, tracing circles into his hips softly.]
Hard to talk when there's a hot tough guy on top of me. But I want you. Without a doubt I do.
no subject
You're gonna be stuck with me, then.
[But he's grinning at that, even as he ducks his head down to smear open-mouthed kisses down the line of James' pulse.]
no subject
[A content him is drawn out from him as he leans his head back. His hand slides up the titan's lower back in order to give a rock of his hips, a sharp intake of breath following it.]
no subject
Good.
no subject
Besides you'd be stuck with a vanguard. Guess you're out of luck.
[Sucky joke but he had other things on his mind besides from joking.]
no subject
[He groans against the hunter's skin, one hand skirting down to grasp at his thigh, rolling his hips again.]
C'mon, just like that.
no subject
What? Want more of this?
no subject
[Not the most eloquent, but he's more than a little distracted, shivering at the sensation and panting into James' shoulder. He offers a weak noise before craning up to steal a kiss that's more tongue and teeth than anything else.]
no subject
Such a tame little titan I have...
[Probably was going to pay for that tease but whatever. He lowers his head to bite the mark he had made earlier, laving his tongue over it.]
no subject
With a grunt of effort, and a slight twinge to his side again, he manuevers himself, pulls back away. It takes a moment to find his balance, but once he does, he moves to shrug out of the arm about his shoulders, taking James' hands and pinning them to the bed above his head.]
Gotta work you up, first.
[He does take a moment to very carefully observe though, completely ready to let go at any sign of discomfort or distress.]
no subject
True. You did say that was after pinning me down. Unless you can't handle it.
[Defintely his turn to be a little shit and he shrugs nonchalantly.]
no subject
[Now it's getting competitive, and he's quite ready to prove himself. With a shift, he's able to duck his head down and mouth at the hollow of the hunter's throat, slowly rolling his hips against the other man with a pleased noise.]
Don't know if you can though.
no subject
[Another shaky laugh later and he's having to focus on keeping his breathing under control, leaning his head back to give the titan more room. Bad enough that he can't do anything with his hands except for clench them from the slow pleasure he was being given.
Definitely getting punished for what he decided to say.]
You know I can take it.
