[This was not clicking for some reason. He has been staring at these reports for the past hour and half, nothing having been accomplished besides from papers being shuffled around in a semblance of productivity and knives thrown into the pillar behind him out of sheer frustration. His fingers tapping along the worn metal to keep himself from doing further property damage at this rate.
The bottom line was that stress was gnawing at him.
Not from the job though. If anything, reports should came as second nature after the past few months and coordinating had been relatively easy once the rough first week passed by. Being a vanguard should cause less stress than doing actually fieldwork yet here he was at a breaking point almost.
There was nothing. Absolutely nothing. Those stupid letters and photos and other bullshit weren't coming in anymore.
Something had to have happened and he's stuck here in this goddamn tower like a fresh rezzed moron.
His hands were effectively tied as well. No one could be sent out without the other two's approval and even then it'd be brought forward to discussion by the head vanguard. Which means that nothing could happen for days and he'll be sitting on his ass like he already was. All it did was make him all the more frustrated about having given up his freedom to leave as he so pleased because at least then someone would be out there trying to figure out what happened.
The hunter buries his face in his hands with an exhausted sigh leaving him. He probably looked like hell at this rate. Throwing himself into long hours had made his sleep schedule an abysmal handful of hours in the past few days. Half the time he didn't know how he wasn't passing out during meetings. Be easy to. Pull the hood further down, lean down on the table and maybe get an hour or two of on and off rest. Might be the best time to try it out to be quite honest since the hall was dead before attempting it when there'd be actual repercussions to getting caught.
He grunts after stretching out on the table some, pillowing his head with his arms for something close to comfortable. Shade is called out of transmat to keep a watch on things while an attempt at a nap was made. The ghost whirling softly in concern but does as told.
Things suck. Might as well try to ignore it for the time being.]

And besides, papers aren't that important, yeah?

But nah, I missed you. Wanted to spend some time.

Well I'm out of a meeting. Still have work to do unless you plan on making sure it remains undone.

Undone sounds pretty good to me. I mean c'mon, there are better things to do.

And what would those things be?

Things. Lots of things.

Date: 2016-10-10 11:00 pm (UTC)From:[He chuckles against the warm skin of his hunter's neck, biting again and working a small, but noticeable mark into the soft white. It's far back enough to be hidden by the cloak, but that's alright; they'll both know it's there, and that's what's important.
His hand continues to wander though, toying at strappings and buckles lazily as he can't resist another quip.]
I remember a hunter a long time ago tellin' me the best way to disrobe one 'a his kind. Think I'm gettin' a little out of practice though, might need some hands on experience.

Date: 2016-10-11 03:58 pm (UTC)From:[He knew rather well how to roll with the teases that the titan was always keen on dishing out. However a low groan eases from him at the rough touch of teeth against his pulse, his eyes slipping shut with the brief pain.]
Wonder where you'd be able to get that from.

Date: 2016-10-13 02:34 am (UTC)From:[He grins toothily against his hunter's neck, fingers playing at the clasps and buckles of James' breastplate as he works. He takes his time though, working each one with utmost care as he nips at the shell of the man's ear. Patience may not have been his personal strong suit, but there was just something about being able to have his hands all over, to know what could be ahead, that kept him from rushing.]
Don't want to run into a hard situation where things get out of hand.

Date: 2016-10-13 03:04 pm (UTC)From:[Slower was always better because it built up to what the both of them wanted out of this but that didn't mean he was going to hold back any teasing. He sighs almost as if bored and leans back into his chair, smirking.]
Might be doing something wrong if it isn't hard.
