Myth!AU - O' Death

[There's a slight wind to give signs that colder weather was going to hit the city at some point but otherwise the chill didn't faze many much with the sun pouring down rays without any resistance from white wisps streaking across blue. Another busy work day for most people as they packed the sidewalks in order to accomplish whatever the day asked of them to do, some of them heading off towards lunch break even as the afternoon brought along ease in traffic after the rushing around or rather dead still in the morning commutes that always came like clockwork. The towering skyscrapers piercing above while scattered about were busy shops and apartment complexes ranging to the higher end of the spectrum, fortunate for several residents of them being close to where they worked usually.

However it didn't matter much to the man lying face first towards the blue in an alley, red bursts staining his shirt in an act of fatal defiance against the fabric. He wasn't caring about anything anymore. Pools of crimson have congealing into a sticky mess at his side to keep company with the broken body though it was a waste honestly. A barrier of yellow and black tape announcing the crime scene as if the body and the blood weren't enough already to do so. Officers scurrying about to comb through every little thing in order to scrounge up evidence ranging from fingerprints to shell casings while a medical examiner started jotting down notes as though it were a race.

To be fair, it was a race that was ticking away for all of them but yet he didn't exactly have to put so much effort into finding out the who, why and whatnot of this particular case. Never really showed interest in the exact details of a person's death as it wasn't under his job description nor would he if paid enough, more so content enough with the tasks that were scheduled for him to do. He sends a confirmation of his arrival with a quick text before stowing away the smart phone into his back pocket and assessing the fussing police. No doubt Matthieu was going to blow his phone up with messages after getting the answer but that could be ignored.

Passing underneath the tape, the man eased through the scene with no problems coming from the uniformed others. Though that was the point of having such a decent illusion in order to essentially make him invisible, allowing a much easier time accomplishing his tasks without the stupid questions that would be raised at his presence much less what he would do here. He had the slight frown that could've been considered appropriate for the situation but the claw marks and irrevocably damaged right eye would certainly cause a more sinister thought process to occur. Maybe even be considered as a hit man that had down the crime but to be fair he didn't hunt unless told otherwise and certainly not boring humans such as this idiot. Besides a man decked in a suit stood out in this mess with much help to his disregard of everything save for the dead man who certainly was still brimming with the confused energy of a trapped soul. Definitely need to rectify that.

James crouched down right next to the examiner and fished out a knife before making an incision right at the heart before reaching down to draw out the reluctant soul. The reaper was only doing his job and besides no one was going to see him do his work, not the police nor the surrounding crowd of onlookers.

He was looking forward to the break after this one, sneak away towards his usual haunt; a coffee shop that boasted fantastic blends that were more so a necessity at this rate rather than a mere commodity and plus the perfect spot he claimed by the window in order to watch the world keep moving. The energy from the illusion would be easily restored during that. Then it would be another one in midtown before being able to return back home for the day and unwind. That or check with the bar to make sure a friend or two didn't snoop around more than they should. The former was going to be the most probable though so he shows the other idea to the back of his mind before focusing.]

[Stealing a kiss with teeth lingering on his lower lip, she slips off and heads over to rummage in the bedside table. She returns moments later, pressing a condom into his hand. It was terribly wonderful the way he can fall apart sometimes. A brief appearance of a fond smile coming out.]

[He follows the kiss with his own press and bite, exhaling roughly as she pulls away. Thankfully it isn't long though, and then there's something in his hand and-]

[A short laugh bubbles out as she shakes her head, smirking.]

Wow I didn't think you'd need that much instruction. Put it on, mutt.

[But the order is heeded, and it isn't long before he's sliding the condom on. If he's smirking, well he isn't going to apologize.]

[It's a light tease before she's back to rolling her hips against him, biting her lip. Another pleased noise slips out and she doesn't care if he hears it or not now. Leaning down to steal kiss that's almost all tongue and teeth, the fae helps guide his head to sink into her depths.]

You wouldn't find me nearly as charming if I stopped.

[But his words trail off into a low groan, fingers twitching against the sheets with the urge to wind into her hair and drag the kiss out even longer. She moves slow, and it's maddeningly good, makes it difficult to keep himself still as she lowers herself down.]

No I find you hot. There's a difference right now.

[A shaky breath sucked in as she settles him fully in, shifting her grip to his sides with a pleased noise. Biting her lip, the fae starts to rock against him with a moan she doesn't care at all to stifle.]

Ah, I do appreciate a good stroke of the ego.

[She's moaning though, and he echoes with a low groan as she moves. His patience is wearing thin, and she's beautiful like this; powerful and free and everything he could ever ask for.]

If that's all you're focused on then I'm doing something terribly wrong.

[Everything is taken nice and slow. The almost chaotic mess at the bar was nice but it was good to enjoy things at a simpler pace. She leans down to steal a drawn out kiss before nipping along his jaw.]

[He bites out the words, daring enough to reach down and steady her with a hand on her hip. There's a slight buck of his hips, but he curbs himself a moment later.]

[A sharp gasp slips out at the rough thrust and she grips him hard. She stops for a moment to get her thoughts back together before picking the pace back up.]

I think someone wants to misbehave...

[He can't help but grin, even if he has to swallow a throaty moan as she rides him harder.]

I think someone wants me to.

[A shaky mischievous smirk thrown down at him as she roughly grinds down onto him. She tries to talk at first but it fumbles into a low moan.]

G-go for it.

[There it is, his opening. Permission be damned, even if it's already granted, he's reaching for her now, hands at her hips to steady her as he bucks with a ragged noise.]

[She lets out a sharp moan, clutching at the sheets as her breathing turns even more shaky by the shot of rough pleasure. Her smirk is still present though.]

[It's a breathless reply though, because he's fighting to keep control.]

[He shoots a smirk back, fingers slipping down between her legs to help her along.]

You flatter yourself too much. Besides we both know you're the one who'd be bored, mutt...

[A sharp gasp hisses out between clenched teeth, rocking harder against both his hips and his fingers now. She leans down to smear kisses along his shoulder and neck. It would be a tad less lively around her apartment and maybe in her life but she wasn't going to tell him that.]

[He's smirking now, free hand gripping tight to her hip as he bucks into her roughly. So much for playing nice.]

[Her hand comes up to clutch at his shoulder, biting her lip to force away a moan.]

I beg to differ.

[The grin is back, wolfish and sharp as he grips at her hip to pull her down. It's accompanied by a rough, deep thrust before he stills, holding her there even if it takes all of his concentration and willpower.]

[A shudder shoots through her spine as she fails to swallow a loud moan, grinding her teeth as he forces her to still. She raises a brow at him and clearly wasn't amused at the turn of events.]

You really going to be that much of an ass?

[But his fingers are still moving against her, even if his hips have stilled. It takes far more concentration than he'd like to admit, and though he grins he's still clenching his jaw to keep himself under control.]

[However she's more than content to rock her hips against his fingers with a soft sigh but not giving him the satisfaction of her begging. She wasn't the one that was going to crack if she can help it. Especially after the earlier torture that she had thrown at him.]

[By everything holy and divine he wants to move, but he can't resist teasing just a bit more. He relents only slightly though, slowly rocking his hips up with a hiss through clenched teeth.]
